Traffic Violators School :: Mature Driver Class

(Must register in person for these classes)

TRAFFIC VIOLATORS SCHOOL
The eight hour Traffic Violators class at BAS was established with the cooperation of public education providers and the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). The course is open to all individuals who have been given this option. You can attend a one-day 8-hour class, or two evening 4-hour classes. All traffic school teachers are certified by the National Safety Council.

Please Note
  • Pre-registration in person at the BAS office is required, with a $40 non-refundable fee.
  • No mail or fax registation.
  • Bring your ID and DMV paperwork with you.
  • No checks. Cash or credit card only.
  • Attendance for 8 hours is mandatory to satisfactorily complete the course.

Please call the school office at 510.644.6130 to verify dates and times. You must pre-register in person at the adult school office. Bring your ID and DMV paperwork with you to register and when you go to class. Choose a 2-session Tuesday class, or a 1-session Saturday class:

MATURE DRIVER CLASS
For drivers 55 and over. Reduce auto insurance premiums by completing course. Covers California traffic laws, defensive driving techniques. Certficate good for three years. $10 fee includes certificate. Class held on two consecutive Tuesdays. Pre-registration required.
