HOW TO START YOUR OWN BUSINESS
One session Saturday Workshop. Designed to "Get you started" in researching the type of business that would best suit your needs: a Sole Proprietorship, Corporation, or a Limited Partnership. You will develop a solid business plan and outline to enable you to obtain financing and have a sound fiscal operation. Business licenses, insurance, accounting and taxes will be covered. Limited to 4 students.

NOTARY PUBLIC
Become a Notary in one day. Saturday workshop. Class is 8:30am - 3pm. The state exam is 3:15 - 4:30pm.
Fees: $75 for class (includes textbook and state examiner fee) payable to Berkeley Adult School; $40 exam fee, payable to Secretary of State (check or money order, no cash).
Students must bring to class: a highlighter, #2 pencils and valid I.D. (Driver's License, passport or other government I.D.). Class limited to 20 students.
