Computer Basics classes include basic introduction to keyboard, operating systems, and how to type.

Typing test given during day class times: 10:00-11:00am, Room 109, fee is $20. (No testing during the first week of classes.)

Graphics and Web Publishing
Graphics classes include Basic Design for Print and Web, as well as Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign from Adobe's Creative Suite. Web publishing includes Dreamweaver.

Microsoft Office
Microsoft Office products include Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Publisher.

Networking/Computer Repair
Networking includes installing and troubleshooting network systems. Computer repair includes troubleshooting and repairing IBM PCs and clones, including A+ Certification training.


Computer Basics

KEYBOARDING/LEARNING TO TYPE ON THE COMPUTER
Highly recommended as the first computer class to take to become a successful computer user. This course is individualized to teach three levels of keyboarding: beginning, intermediate, and advanced. Students will also be introduced to basic computer functions and formatting features. Receive a Proficiency Rating Letter. Typing test given during (no testing first week of class), $20 fee.
