OVERVIEW OF CAREER CLASSES AT BAS


Students can combine classes in self-directed career preparation, including:
Basic education, GED preparation, high school diploma
Career prep classes such as Multicultural Business/Communications Job Preparation
Computer Literacy, including Intro to Macs, and basic computer literacy in Spanish
Illustration, digital imaging, page layout, and web publishing with Adobe software
Microsoft classes including a self-paced class called Business Computer Applications, or targeted classes for specific Microsoft Office applications.

Focused career programs include:
Accounting Clerk
Medical Office Assistant, Nursing Assistant
The Bread Project, a nine-week training program for kitchen oriented careers

In collaboration with Boston Reed College, BAS is offering:
Clinical Medical Assistant Training
Electronic Health Records Systems Technologist
Pharmacy Technician Training
